Arianna Huffington started the Huffington Post off of a leap of faith. When she first got into blogging she had no idea how successful the site would be 10 years after inception. At the time, Huffington did not understand the importance of writing fresh content daily in order to build large sums of traffic from search engine results pages such as Google and Yahoo. While gaining experience to the blogging trenches, she understood the importance of providing relevant links to news stories not only in efforts of improving long-term search engine optimization goals, but also partnering with like-minded new sites in order to get reciprocal traffic for years to come in addition to multiplying advertising revenue for her and partners.

Huffington understood she could not achieve the goal by herself of building the Huffington Post from nothing into a multimillion dollar business. She accepted failure in the beginning. But she also understood building up the site over time with “lots and lots of content” would put her in financial eligibility to become an Internet millionaire and possibly an Internet multi-millionaire. I personally believe Huffington solar cell short when she sold the company to AOL for a mere $315 million when I personally believe was maybe worth 2 billion. However, she possibly saw in a moment of getting a quick check and settled for less.

Arianna became a leader in the blogging world of online news reporting. Since experiencing success of the Huffington Post when she started in 2005, she’s been featured across many business panels of well-known wealthy entrepreneurs. She discussed her humble beginnings as an online news journalists and shares inspiration for fellow entrepreneurs to be motivated from.
